Modern Disco really began when the film Saturday Night Fever was released in 1977 and literally took the world by storm!

For Tanner-J a new era was born with the formation of the TJ's who went on to perform "Fever" routines all over the country. Since then other modern styles have emerged: Freestyle, Hip Hop, and Street.

Today we not only teach all these styles of dance, but you can even qualify for medals.

Over the years many teachers have gained their formal qualifications at the Tanner-J Dance Zone.
